1. Who controls your data
The data controller is [COMPANY NAME], registered in England and Wales under number [COMPANY NUMBER], registered office [ADDRESS], operator of bonus24.co.uk. For anything relating to your personal data, contact us at info@bonus24.co.uk.
We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).
2. Newsletter — what we collect and why
For the newsletter we process a single piece of personal data: your email address. We do not ask for your name, phone number or any other information.
- Purpose: to run lawful email marketing campaigns to our subscribers — sending you betting offers from UK Gambling Commission-licensed operators, along with guides and articles published on the Site.
- Lawful basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR), given by voluntarily submitting the subscription form. Under PECR, marketing emails are only sent to people who have actively opted in.
- Retention: until you withdraw consent (unsubscribe) or the newsletter service ends.
- Unsubscribing: you may unsubscribe at any time, free of charge, using the unsubscribe link in every email we send or by emailing info@bonus24.co.uk. Your address is then deleted from our subscriber list.
Because our newsletter carries gambling-related marketing, we only send it to people who confirm they are 18 or over at the point of subscribing.
Your email address is never sold, rented or passed to gambling operators or other third parties for their own marketing.
3. Contact form
If you contact us through the form, we process the details you provide — name, phone number and, optionally, email address — solely in order to respond to your enquiry. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in replying to messages we receive (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). Messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and then deleted.
4. Cookies and technical data
The Site sets one strictly necessary cookie: the PHP session cookie, used only to operate the anti-bot check on the subscription form. It does not track your activity and expires when you close your browser. Under PECR, strictly necessary cookies of this kind do not require consent, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address and access time for security purposes.
Site fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a technical request to Google including your IP address when pages load.
5. Who we share data with
Your data is stored on the servers of our web hosting provider, which acts as our processor and does not use it for its own purposes. We do not sell your data to anyone.
6. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the following rights, which you can exercise free of charge by emailing info@bonus24.co.uk:
- the right to be informed and the right of access to your data;
- the right to rectification of inaccurate data;
- the right to erasure (the ‘right to be forgotten’);
- the right to restrict processing;
- the right to data portability;
- the right to object to processing, including direct marketing at any time;
- the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal;
- the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — ico.org.uk, helpline 0303 123 1113.
We respond to requests within one month.
7. Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: an encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access to the subscriber list, and anti-spam protection on our forms. No system is completely secure; in the event of a personal data breach that meets the reporting threshold, we will notify the ICO within 72 hours and, where required, the individuals affected.
8. Under-18s
This Site is intended for adults aged 18 and over and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that a person under 18 has subscribed to the newsletter, the address is deleted immediately.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the current version, with the date last updated, is always published on this page. Significant changes affecting the newsletter will be communicated to subscribers by email.
